Sir Roden and Lady Cutler Charities
Written by Amy Craig
MMPCU is proud to sponsor the Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Charities.
Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Charities evolved from the Kings Cross Rotary Club 1990's 'Home and Away' project, which provided emergency transport for the young, elderly, intellectually impaired and the disabled needing to get to and from vital medical appointments.
Sir Arthur Roden Cutler was an Australian diplomat, the longest serving Governor of New South Wales and a recipient of the Victoria Cross.
Following Sir Roden's passing in 2002, and with Lady Cutlers blessing, it changed its name and is now the widely recognised and respected Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Charities Inc. For more information about the charity please visit www.sirroden.org.au
Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Annual Charity Golf Day
The Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation Annual Charity Golf Day was held on the 17th of May at Concord Golf Club in Sydney, one of the oldest and finest championship golf courses in Australia.
It was a great day of golf, with great company, great food and fantastic prizes. Kevin Sheedy (a famous Australian Rules Football coach and player) and Lady Cutler attended the event with all funds raised on the day going towards helping the seriously ill, elderly, needy and disabled.
