Highlanders Women’s Rugby League

The Highlanders Women’s Rugby league is an indigenous team based in QLD.

  • In 2011 they were crowned the state champions at the QLD Murri carnival
  • Five of their players were named in the QLD indigenous Merit Team
  • Nine players were selected in the indigenous all-stars squad for 2012

They have also been invited to play the winners of the Koori Knockout for the National Winners as part of NAIDOC week in Sydney in 2012.
